Graduate Teaching Assistant (August 2023 to Present): I teach general chemistry to undergrad students at the University of Southern Mississippi.
Teacher (Biology) (June 2022 to July 2023): Al-Hidaayah International School is a Cambridge Curriculum-based school in Chattogram, Bangladesh. I joined the school since I have affection very much in teaching. I believe teaching is the best art of everything. It also helped me learn a lot. I started my job as a teacher in the Biology Department. I take Classes in VI, VIII, IX, X, AS, and A2. Currently, I am the class teacher of Class VI.
Biology Teacher (March 2022 to June 2022): I love to present biology easily and understandably to 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade students. This is one of the two jobs I have never felt bored of. I worked as a biology teacher at the Academic Care Education Center, Dhaka-1216, Bangladesh.
Lab in charge (December 2021 to February 2022): At the end of 2021, I was assigned to the position of Lab in Charge at Shah Amanat International Airport RT-PCR laboratory, Chattogram-4205. I worked there for three months, where my job was to monitor and supervise the molecular biologists, lab technologists, phlebotomists, and IT executives of the lab. I was also responsible for the RT-PCR outcomes and reports.
Research Assistant and Lab Manager (December 2020 to July 2023): Advanced Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and Data Science Laboratory, Bangladesh (ABCD Laboratory, Bangladesh) is one of Bangladesh's most prestigious and renowned research facilities. The main focus of this institution is to train students from various majors as skilled computational biologists and data scientists. Currently, this laboratory is leading our country's biggest computational biologist group. ABCD Laboratory is a nonprofit lab that aims to motivate students in research-based studies. I started working in this laboratory as a Research Assistant, and a few days after my joining, I was promoted to Lab Manager. My primary duties were, not limited, to keeping updated information about research students and collaborators, joining every meeting with each research group, maintaining laboratory PCs and software, keeping updates on licenses, reviewing Junior Research Collaborators (JRCs) manuscripts, writing drafts and formatting, guiding others in MD simulations, and also continuing my research projects.
Molecular Biologist (June 2020 to September 2021): At the dawn of the COVID-19 pandemic, the whole country was stagnant with a strict lockdown. People were in a panic, and the infection rate increased daily. I willingly joined the COVID-19 Testing Laboratory of the University of Chittagong to support my country and its people in that critical moment. I was responsible for scheduling, sample allocation, processing, RT-PCR, result analysis, and submission.
Research Assistant (January 2019 to May 2020): The Functional Genomics and Proteomics Laboratory of the University of Chittagong is well known. This is the laboratory where gene cloning was successfully performed for the first time in the history of the university. I was a proud member of that team. At the beginning of my final year of undergraduate, my honorable mentor and co-supervisor, Dr. Laila Khaleda, recruited me as a Research Assistant for the lab. My primary focus was to perform tissue culture and maintain all the equipment, keep the schedules and updates of reagents, take care of the transgenic organisms, computational analysis, etc.
